The Actuarial Society of Ghana (ASG) in partnership with the Actuaries Without Boaders (AWB), a section of the International Actuarial Association has introduced a tutorial programme for candidates sitting for the Society of Actuary (SOA) examination. It is being supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale (GIZ) GmbH. This collaboration is intended to last over a period of 5 years commencing from April 2015. This expected to contribute to actuarial capacity development to meet the growing demand of actuaries not just the insurance sector but also the various facets of the Ghanaian economy and the West African sub-region at large.
Key features of the programme includes:
1. To be organized twice every year in April and August
2. Features seasonned international Actuaries of high repute as facilitators
3. Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) practice examination for participants
